Stories, 2016

The four-part series links how elders are cared for in different social settings with a form of storytelling. The role of storytellers takes different forms in modern society: from one’s immediate elders in a community, the author (novelist, painter, etc.), the celebrity (TV and media), to that of private security (from surveillance systems to the iphone). These forms of culture correspond to how elders are cared for: from the community, the family, and a seniors’ residence, to a one-hour visit from a migrant caregiver.
